What are the causes of Syndactyly type 3?

The most common treatment for Syndactyly type 3 is surgical separation of the fused digits. This procedure is usually done under general anesthesia and involves cutting the webbing between the digits and then closing the skin with sutures. In some cases, skin grafts may be necessary to cover the area. Other treatments may include physical therapy to help improve range of motion and strength in the affected digits.
